~Book Bargains~ Free Regency Romance

Heartless is FREE in the Kindle Store November 28-29! If you've been unsure about trying one of my titles, here's your opportunity to try one risk-free.

In case you need more convincing, here's the blurb:

A dark stranger....
Finding herself abandoned after the death of her father, Leandra Harcourt takes the greatest risk of her life. She accepts the marriage proposal of a complete stranger, the Duke of Derringer—a man the world calls Lord Heartless.

A heartless proposal....
A desperate girl with no prospects seems the perfect solution to Derringer's most recent problem: marry before his 30th birthday to gain his rightful inheritance, though marriage is the last thing he needs. The need to find his missing cousin takes priority over any silly marriage and he quickly abandons his new bride in the wreck of his family estate.

A perfect love....
Two people were never more suited for each other than the duke and his wife, but will they discover it before it's too late? With an assassin dogging his heels and a suitor wooing his wife, love will not have the luxury of time.

~My Books~ Heartless is Now Available

That's right, after OVER ONE YEAR off the shelves, Lord Heartless is finally back in all his glory. Whew. What an undertaking it was to revamp this bad boy.

The blurb:

Wondering how this book is connected to my others?

Lending Ebooks

Did you know that many eBooks in the Kindle and Nook stores have lending enabled? This means you can lend your favorite eBooks to your friends and family so they can enjoy it too. (Yes, lending is enabled for all my eBooks in the Kindle Store. I think they are for the Nook Store, as well, though I'm not sure.)

So how do you loan a book to a friend?

Go to the Amazon page of the book you want to lend. You should see something similar to this:

Screen cap of the book page for 99 Reasons to Hate Cats*. Click to enlarge image.
Click "Loan this book" (highlighted above). That link will take you to this page:

Loan page in the Kindle Store for 99 Reasons to Hate Cats*. Click to enlarge image.
There are only two required fields to loan a purchased eBook. You need to enter your friend's email address and your own name. Then click "Send now" and the recipient will receive an email with a link to claim the book. They have 7 days to claim it. When they do, the eBook in your Kindle device or app turns into the sample of the book instead of the full version (or it just tells you that you can't read it while it's out on loan, can't remember for sure which), and the book appears on your friend's device. 14 days later, whether they're done with it or not, it disappears from their device and the full version reappears on your own. Very easy and a great way to legally share eBooks.

Not all books can be loaned, however. It's the choice of the author or publisher to enable the lending feature and some have chosen not to.

If anyone has experience with the Nook lending feature, please share how that works. I haven't tried it or even looked into it.

I hope this helps. Happy reading! ♥

*And just in case you're curious, 99 Reasons to Hate Cats is a delightfully humorous look into the crazy life of owning a cat. An amusing cartoon accompanies each of the reasons. I recommend it for a chuckle. :O)

~Book Bargains~ Astraea Press $0.99 Ebook Sale

I just found out that Astraea Press, publisher of clean romantic fiction, is having a huge $0.99 sale in the Amazon and B&N eBook stores. It's a long list of titles at this amazing price, from a long list of romantic genres. Here's just a few examples (linked from the Kindle Store):

To shop the Kindle Store, click HERE

To shop the Nook Store, click HERE.*

*The store links go to search results which aren't super accurate; some non-Astraea Press titles will appear in both stores. I've made sure the Barnes and Noble link is arranged with lowest price first, but that put a few freebies at the top that I'm pretty sure aren't associated with AP. Still, there are a lot of titles to choose from in either store, so it's worth a look even if you have to scroll a bit.
**I haven't read these titles, but I am assured they are clean romance. It's the only thing AP publishes, after all. I am not in any way associated with AP, though I do "know" a few of the authors published with them.
***The Kindle links do contain my Amazon Associates ID. This means I get a teeny, tiny commission for every item purchased through one of my links.

I think that's all the disclaimers. Did I forget anything?

♥Happy reading!!♥

I've announced this almost everywhere and since this is a clean romance, I will announce it here too.

I am writing a serial romance (Regency) for InD'Tale Magazine called The 11th Commandment. It is set to debut in the July/August issue of InD'Tale.

Subscriptions are [at the time of this post] free, so take advantage.

E-book Convert

Well, it's official. I'm an eBook convert. I still like hold-in-your-hands type books, especially antique ones (such as the 1931 book I used in this blog's header), but I am officially in love with the ease and convenience of eBooks.

I was almost sold just using Kindle for PC. Now I am the proud owner of this:

Hubby surprised me with this little beauty, an Acer Iconia Tab A200. It makes eBook reading SO easy! I adore this thing. It has Kindle, Nook, and Google Books. So many libraries, so little time. {sigh}

♥Happy reading!♥
